A long, lightweight winter coat in pure merino wool, made in small batches in Sydney.
We chose merino because it's warm without being heavy. It breathes when the day warms up and doesn't hold odour. The wool is boiled before being cut, which compacts the fibres into a denser, more weatherproof fabric without adding bulk. The result is a coat that's substantial in the hand but quietly easy to wear all day.
A long, open-fronted, unstructured cut, falling between the knee and mid-calf. It sits well over a dress or a knit and trousers. The lapel is doubled for warmth at the collar. The coat is unlined, which keeps it light and lets the wool breathe. The pockets sit in the side seams so they don't break the line of the coat.
Made in Sydney, in small runs. Dyed with Oeko-Tex® certified dyes, so nothing harsh sits against the skin.
Made slowly, to be worn often.
Model is 173cm and usually wears AU 10.
