Nebel Wool Coat in Nutmeg

A long, lightweight coat in pure boiled wool, made in small batches in Sydney, Australia. We boil the wool before it's cut, which compacts the fibres into a denser, more weather-resistant cloth without adding bulk. It holds its shape and stands up to wind, substantial in the hand but light on the shoulders. Easy to wear over a dress, or a knit and trousers.

The cut is long and open-fronted, unstructured, falling between the knee and mid-calf. It skims rather than clings, and falls clean from the shoulder whether you wear it open or wrapped. The lapel is a single layer of cloth, soft where it meets the neck and easy to fold open or turn up. The coat is unlined, which keeps the weight down and lets the wool breathe. The pockets are on the outside, deep enough to warm your hands and large enough for a phone.

Dyed with Oeko-Tex® certified dyes, so nothing harsh sits against the skin.

Made slowly, to be worn often.
